James Miller, MD, FACOG

Provider Specialties
Obstetrics, Gynecology
Dr. James Miller attended the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University and received his medical degree from the latter. He completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where he also served as administrative chief resident. He then worked in private practice for four years in Manhattan for a Maternal Fetal Medicine practice prior to arriving at Abington Hospital in 2018. After four years working for Abington Jefferson Hospital, Dr. Miller joined his eight partners with the vision to build Athena OB/GYN, a practice that would offer the best modern resources that a major health system can provide with the dedication and compassion of local community doctors.
Before embarking on a career in medicine, James was a fifth-grade teacher and a member of the Teach for America Corp. He taught in South Central, Los Angeles for three years describing the experience as incredibly rewarding and challenging. He currently lives in Doylestown with his wife and two children. They are a family of avid skiers, Eagles fanatics, and to his dismay, his children support the Phillies rather than his hometown Cardinals.
