Monica Orji is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, and being a WHNP has been a dream of hers since she was 12 years old. She moved from Wilmington, Delaware to New York City to start her education at Long Island University and New York City College of Technology. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she worked in the Trauma ICU and transitioned to Labor & Delivery. She then obtained her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago and became board certified in Women’s Health. After relocating back to NYC, she started her career as a Nurse Practitioner and worked in various fields within the specialty including high risk obstetrics, family planning, menopause management, and postpartum.
Monica believes it is an honor to serve her patients, and she takes pride in being able to care for women across the lifespan. When she is not working, she enjoys exploring other cultures through food and travel, styling hair, and spending time with her husband and three young daughters.
