Dr. Stephanie Osawaru brings a unique blend of global perspective and local roots to her practice. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, she moved to the United States at age three and was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – a city that remains close to her heart.
Dr. Osawaru’s journey in medicine began with earning her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Mansfield University. Driven by her lifelong passion for women’s healthcare, she pursued additional pre-medical studies before earning her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, where she served with distinction as Chief Resident, and graduated from Lankenau Medical Center.
Beyond her medical expertise, Dr. Osawaru is deeply rooted in family and community. Coming from a vibrant Nigerian family, she cherishes time spent with loved ones and friends. As an enthusiastic foodie, she enjoys discovering new restaurants throughout the Philadelphia area and experimenting with international cuisines at home.
Dr. Osawaru currently resides in Montgomery County with her husband and their beloved dog. She’s excited to serve her community while maintaining her connection to Philadelphia, the city that shaped her into the compassionate physician she is today.
