Vaidehi Patel received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Laurentian University in Canada. She knew she belonged in Women’s Health the very first time she stepped onto Labor and Delivery. Her passion for obstetrics led her to work as a registered nurse (RN) on the Postpartum unit for greater than 7 years.
During her time as an RN, Vaidehi obtained her Doctors of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rutgers School of Nursing, Newark, NJ. She is board-certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She provides comprehensive, compassionate, high-quality, and safe care for women throughout their lifespan. She takes special pleasure in caring for and empowering women of all ages. She enjoys helping women achieve and maintain the highest level of physical health and well-being.
Vaidehi is also a nationally certified lactation counselor, and her special interests include breastfeeding, intimate partner violence, and substance use during pregnancy. In her spare time Vaidehi is a professionally trained Bharatanatyam dancer and volunteers as Disaster Health Services Team Member for American Red Cross.
