A native of Washington State, Virginia Takagi, MD, attended the University of Rochester in upstate New York for medical school. She then came to Indiana for her residency at Indiana University. Dr. Takagi enjoys practicing both obstetrics and gynecology, but she has a special interest in adolescent care, high-risk pregnancies, abnormal periods, and minimally invasive surgery.
When she’s not working, Dr. Takagi loves spending time with her husband and three young sons. She also enjoys playing the piano, gardening, participating in church service, and traveling when time permits.
