Dr. Matilda Miranda is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology where her passion lies in the overall excellence of women’s health, specifically adolescent medicine, menopause and contraceptive counseling and management. Dr. Miranda recognizes the significance of the physician-patient relationship and focuses on establishing open communication with her patients in order to identify and resolve their issues and problems.Dr. Miranda received her B.A. from Georgetown University in 1994 and MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2000. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 2004 at Maimonides Medical Center. Subsequently, Dr. Miranda elected to return to her home state of New Jersey where she resides with her husband and two children.Dr. Miranda enjoys exercising with particular interest in triathlons and yoga, attending sporting events, music, the arts and traveling. She is of Cuban descent and speaks Spanish fluently.
