"Working in women's health affords me daily opportunities to meet patients where they are and partner with them during their healthcare journey. My patients inspire me to consistently grow as a provider and are constant reminders that there is no place I’d rather be!"
Tristin was raised in the Parkchester section of the Bronx in New York City. After receiving her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Binghamton University in 2010, she began her career as a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse in Albany, NY. Driven by her passion for women’s health, she chose to continue on a path that would allow her to deliver compassionate, inclusive, patient centered care in OB/GYN settings. In 2015, she obtained her Master’s of Science in Nursing from New York University with a specialty in Advanced Holistic Nursing. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and worked in a private OB/GYN practice in Upstate New York for six years before joining the Garden State OB/GYN team.
Her patients have been some of her greatest teachers over the years. She strongly believes in the importance of a collaborative relationship between patient and provider, an approach that allows patients to feel empowered to make informed decisions about their health. She strives to make patients feel safe, respected, and included in the spaces they seek healthcare.
Tristin is also a Doula, a Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner, and a yoga teacher.
She is a proud cat mama of two and her personal interests include reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
