Umbilical cord blood is the blood that stays in the umbilical cord and placenta after the birth of your baby, and it contains special cells called stem cells that can help treat diseases in children and adults. Up until recent years, cord blood has typically been discarded after the infant was delivered, but now that we know the possibilities it can provide, patients can opt to have their baby’s cord blood collected and stored for future use.

Our board-certified OB/GYNs deliver at a diverse range of hospitals, including some of the best academic centers in the region.
