While more hospitals are transitioning to a laborist model for obstetrics, Axia Women’s Health remains dedicated to serving patients with personal, reliable maternity care. A “laborist model” means that a hospital employs full-time staff dedicated to delivering babies. With this model, patients are unable to continue their delivery experience with the OB/GYN provider who cared for them throughout their pregnancy.
Axia Women’s Health is proud to only deliver with hospitals and systems that see the value in obstetrical providers continuing care from pregnancy through delivery.
Our care teams recognize that pregnancy is an important and exciting time in a woman’s life. Delivering your baby is a significant milestone, and one that should not be taken lightly. Our providers strive to ensure a consistent quality of care from your first obstetric visit through post-partum care. We draw on our collective experience to support the challenges of vaginal deliveries after cesarean section (VBAC), short-term pregnancies, and breech births, and have countless success stories to share. That’s the Axia Maternity Difference.
