A New Practice Delivering More for Women

Formerly practicing with Jefferson Health – Abington, our board-certified OB/GYN physicians recently joined forces to create a women’s health practice that delivers more of what today’s women deserve. We offer a broad array of services focused on female needs and the convenience of digital technology to complement your care, including on-site ultrasound, 3D mammography, diagnostics, and in-house lab work – we’ve thought of it all so that you can focus on your well-being.

We offer same-day and next-day problem visits at all of our locations, as well as evening OB and GYN appointments. If you ever have difficulty locating an online appointment that works for your schedule, we encourage you to call the office, as we may be able to help find a time that works for you. Our phone hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm and Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm, but we have a provider available on call 24/7. Please call the office at any time to connect with a provider if you are in labor or experiencing an urgent GYN problem or concern.

Now Offering Maternal Fetal Medicine and Automated Breast Ultrasounds 

Athena OB/GYN is proud to now offer maternal-fetal medicine services in the comfort of our office, providing a comprehensive care experience in partnership with the experts at Axia’s Abington Perinatal Associates.

Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) provides additional screenings for women with dense breasts. Breast density reporting is part of your annual mammogram, and those with dense breast tissue may benefit from ABUS, in addition to their routine screen. ABUS is now offered conveniently in office and can often be performed immediately after your mammogram. We are proud to offer the latest technology and services you deserve to maintain your breast health.
