Axia Women’s Health Appoints New Clinical Leadership

January 18th, 2023 – Axia Women’s Health announced today the promotion of several members of its clinical leadership team. Effective immediately, Richard Gates, MD will assume the role of Chief Medical Officer, partnering with Thomas Dardarian, DO as Deputy Chief Medical Officer to oversee all clinical operations. Jennifer Stuck, DO will serve in a newly created role of Chief Medical Informatics Officer working with the organization’s IT team to optimize the Axia technology platform.

All three physicians held previous leadership roles at Axia Women’s Health as Vice Presidents of Medical Affairs for their regions. This new leadership structure acknowledges the breadth of the CMO role and responsibilities, the critical importance of technology to both providers and patients, and establishes a strong foundation for continued success.

Dr. Richard Gates, Chief Medical Officer, brings nearly 30 years’ experience as an OB/GYN and has extensive expertise in leading clinical teams. Before joining Axia, Dr. Gates served as President of the Medical Staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis where he oversaw a team of more than 1,500 providers. Dr. Thomas Dardarian, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, has over 15 years’ experience as an OB/GYN and has held prominent leadership positions, including serving as former President of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Jennifer Stuck, Chief Medical Informatics Officer, brings nearly 20 years’ experience as an OB/GYN and has held several leadership positions, including spearheading clinical committees at Axia aimed at enhancing the provider experience.
