"Being enrusted with women's intimate concerns in birth, life transitions, and health, let alone her children is a daunting task and right complement"

Rachel Grencavich, CNM

Specialties: Obstetrics, Gynecology, Midwifery

Rachel graduated from Villanova with a BS in nursing in 1988. She went on to the Universit of Pennsylvania school of Midwifery and received her MSN in 1996. She has a broad background in Maternal child healthcare and thoroughly enjoys the challenges in all facets spanning gyn, pregnancy, labor and surgical care to public health planning. It is a privilege to walk alongside and guide women during life’s transitions. I never cease to be amazed by resilience of the spirit and continue to marvel in the miracles of birth.

I am thrilled to join Drs. Michner, Milio, Noll in their practice dedicated to generations of families of our community. They were integral in my training early in my nursing career and provided guidance during Midwifery school. Together we will continue to expand women’s health at Cape Regional.

Through Southern Jersey Perinatal Cooperative I chair fetal infant mortality review, which makes reccomendations to improve outcomes by educating clinicians and bringing program initiatives to families. I brought the ACNM Reducing Primary Cesarean project to another institution and will bring those initiatives forward utilizing resources garnered through that process. As I’m interested in community health issues, Health Mother Healthy Babies committee will be another avenue to participate with professionals toward building healthier familes.
