Jennifer Krogstad began her career working in emergency services. She then transitioned to acute medical and surgical care, but found her true passion when she found the maternal and child arena. After 15 years as a labor and delivery nurse, Jennifer returned to graduate school and earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Rutgers University specializing in midwifery and women’s health. Active in both hospital-based and private practice, Jennifer believes in the importance of educating and empowering women so that they can make informed decisions regarding their own pregnancy and childbirth, and maintain health throughout their lifespans. She believes women should have the opportunity to make personal choices about their bodies, their babies, and their experiences. Jennifer and her husband Erik are proud parents of their two beautiful children, Kiersten and Joshua.
